JOkes
A man is digging a hole at the same time that his friend is covering up the same hole. And thus they spend the day, one digs and the other one covers up. Curious, a passerby who can no longer keep quiet watching the surrealist scene, approaches the two men and asks, "Gentlemen, what exactly does this mean?"

"Well, we're working," one of them answers.
"And are you positive there's nothing wrong with what you're doing?"
"Well, if there is something wrong here, it's Joaquim's fault. He didn't show up today."
"And who's Joaquim?" asks the passerby.

"He is the guy who sows the seed."

SYMPTOM: Hands hurt, nose hurts, mind unusually clear.

FAULT: You have been in a fight.

ACTION: Apologize to everyone you see, just in case it was them.

SYMPTOM: Floor blurred.

FAULT: You are looking through bottom of empty glass.

ACTION: Get someone to buy you another beer.

SYMPTOM: Beer tasteless, front of your shirt is wet.

FAULT: Mouth not open, or glass applied to wrong part of face.

" I do not understand you,you don't understand me. What do we have in common.?

 Copyright Lucy Drumonde 2011.

Living in a city of so many cultures , one would be easy to strike a conversation or get to know someone. Always wonder when riding the subway watching an individual ,and wondering what they are thinking.
True one would  never guess what that other person is thinking at the moment.
Of course i remember  a good quote someone wrote....

" Nobody has it easy, everybody has problems. You don't know what they go through. Nobody is perfect, nobody deserves to be perfect. So before you start judging, criticizing, or mocking, remember everybody is fighting their own war."

JOkeA Scotsman walking through a field, sees a man drinking water from a pool with his hand.

The Scotsman man shouts ' Awa ye feel hoor thatâs full Oâ coos Sharn'
(Don't drink the water, it's full of cow s ** t.)
The man shouts back 'I'm English, Speak English, I don't understand you'.
The Scotsman man shouts back 'Use both hands, you'll get more

Joke

Q: What are the two steps Prince William must take to have a successful marriage?
A: First, let Princess Kate think she is having here own way. Second, let her have her own way.

Q: Why is the royal wedding like a three ring circus?
A: Because there is the engagement ring, the wedding ring and the suffering!

Q: Why does  Prince William keep looking at his marriage licence?
A: Perhaps he’s already looking for a loophole.

"Life a journey..where it is good news, you find out you lose your baggage."

             Copyright Lucy Drumonde 2011.

....baggage" is functionally related to the noun "bag," and luggage related to the act of "lugging."

If you ever had a painful memory from a past relationship whereby there was mistrust or pain.
It is always best to leave it behind.

Signs you might have emotional baggage:

   1. projecting - being negative filled with self doubt
   2. paranoia -unsure,suspicious
3.Comparing someone to you last lover.
   4. Walls are up
   5. Staying away from commitment.

    It is all about trust.
    Allow oneself to trust again.

" Finger pointing can certainly lead you into a more pointless direction."

Copyright Lucy Drumonde 2011.

Know what they say, a finger pointed towards someone is three fingers pointed back at you.
I had a conversation with a friend over a year ago about co-dependency. I had no idea what it was or its meaning. Of course like many other people I just was not interested until I was curious to find out. What it is. What is does, and what is the result it can do to  an individuals life.
So with some insight i thought i share what co-dependency.

Co-dependency is a emotional, psychological, and behavioral condition under exposure, and practice of oppressive rules. Preventing any expression of emotion. As well as preventing any discussion of personal or interpersonal relationships.
It is a self sabotaging behaviour which results in the loss in participating, and initiating loving relationships.
Preventing open, honest, direct expression of emotion. Allowing an individual to be vulnerable, human, and or imperfect within realistic expectations.
Co-dependents have great insight in other people but cannot their own self.
Not sure of their own feelings,or what they can do to solve their own problems.
One becomes a caretaker, focusing on everybody needs but their own.
Co-dependency can occur at work, romantic relationships, families, all walks of life.
Can be anyone or everyone, individual who is living with a chemically dependant person, mentally ill, people who are in relationships, chronically ill,or in any helping profession.

Each human being and their personality is different.
A result of reaction of allowing other person's behavior effect him or her,and obsessed with controlling the other individual behaviour.
It is a habitual way of feeling, thinking, and behaving towards ourselves.
These actions can result in self-destructiveness.

Answer lies in improving one's awareness, acceptance, self esteem, behaviour, learn to deal with anger, guilt, and learning to attain healthy relationships.
Being kinder to oneself, seeking help, and support.
It is a start from being in a pointless direction with oneself.

Jokes

What does a neurotic have in common with a near-sighted, horny squirrel? They're both @#$%ing nuts!
A psychiatrist asked her multiple personality patient, So, do you feel like you're cured. He replied, Absolutely. We've never felt better.

What do you ask a multiple personality sufferer after sex? Well, was it good for you guys, too?

A middle-aged man went to a therapist while facing a mid-life crisis. The doctor encouraged him to get out into the world and travel: Experience new places. Eat new foods. In my life, I've eaten shark and snake. Have you ever had the hump of a camel? The patient replied: No, but when I was younger, I was pretty good.

" Prison is peculiar all pros and cons."

Creating Canadian super jails in Toronto Canada a good idea?
Jails are small compared to prisons, but either are not necessarily a solution to deal with crime.
Taxpayer does help pay for prisons and jails.
Just putting someone in jail for a crime, I believe does not always solve the problem.
Each case is different.
More alternative rehabilitation  procedures ought to be open for discussion.
Prisons are peculiar in all pros and cons.

Joke:

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director: "How do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized."

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor "a normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No." said the Director, "a normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"

" I said I had a near deaf experience"

                                   Copyright lucydrumonde 2011.
Having hearing, it is very easy to take it for granted.
We have our i-pods,sleek speaks and ear phones. Of course let us not forget that if we are employed in areas of work that involve high frequency sounds it is easy to slowly lose our hearing.
Lets not forget the people who have hearing impairments deserve our attention and respect too.

Adults: between 26 and 40 dB HL
Children: between 20 and 40 dB HL
Moderate: between 41 and 55 dB HL
Moderately severe: between 56 and 70 dB HL
Severe: between 71 and 90 dB HL
Profound: 90 dB HL or greater

Nobody told me I was a bad listener.

ADD ( Attention Deficit Disorder) is a diagnostic condition for being impulse ,hyper, and or being distracted.
Many individuals may not be aware that they have ADD. There can be many reasons, medical information have attained it can be a variety of elements; allergies, brain defects, swelling, and one is gifted.
The description is subjective which can lead into confusion.
ADD is believed to be started at a early age from 3 years old to formation into adulthood.
I admit i never heard of Attention Deficit Disorder, until a friend was diagnosed with the disorder.
Often i felt frustrated communicating with my friend, many times struggling to get my point in, and hoping the conversation would not end in a argument.

At times did i feel," Is this person hearing me, or am I not being a good listener.''
Of course ... there is help and information. No one is alone.

Ozone layer or cheese in a can..don't make me choose.

The population is growing every minute, and that means feeding more people.
That also means the quality of food we eat will have an affect on our health.
How does one know if the food they are purchasing is organic or genetically modified.
Just because a label mentions organic, does not mean it is natural.
A label that is naturally organic must have a label mentioning it is certified.
It is up to the consumer to educate themselves ,and to look closely at the labels.
Most foods ought to be produced to important standards depending from which country it is originating from.
Organic food has become a major issue, since there is an importance to know what is in our food.
Are genetically modified foods just as healthy and help feed the world's population.
Companies such as Monsanto are illustrating that they claim to feed the world ,but are bullying farmers and buying their seeds. Meanwhile agree to genetically modify our food system, risking our health in the process.
If we respect our farm producers who grow organic food,we also respect what we eat as well.

So remember to support your local farmers.
I am sure they would be grateful for your support.
Talk to your local M.P or senator in congress and voice your opinion about the importance of certified organic food or sign the Millions Against Monsanto petition.

Here are some following links for moe information on organic food and organizations.

Thinking out loud hardly a good idea.

                                                                                        Copyright lucy drumonde 2011.

Sometimes ideas can come into all sorts of ways when one is inspired.
Singing, drawing, painting, dancing etc. Whichever your talent is never hurts to right down ideas.
Whether you are thinking in silent or thinking out loud, never hurts to listen to your own ideas.
If you have a great memory, you might want to ask where you left your tape recorder.

          rather be down south.

Artist Shadow in a Shutter.

An Artist Shadow in a Shutter.

An Artist Shadow in a Shutter was an animation i did couple years ago.
It is a little snipit from the animated film.
My animation was a series of line drawings explaining how our spirit and body are so entwined together.
The elements are very simple.
The character is surrounded by its own aura.
I was challenging the idea from a poem i had created ,and decided to experiment from there.

Visit www.artdogstdio.com/film and animation.

I hope you enjoy it.
